Nory's Portrait Session

I was so excited when Nory reached out to me for some professional headshots! She and I have attended the same gym for a number of years together. So it was nice to meet her outside of our sweaty workouts. We decided on a more urban setting at Old Town Irvine which has a cool looking bean and grain storage warehouse that has been converted to an office building. I really like this location for the weekends as it is practically empty!

Nory showed up with her hair beautifully styled and ready for our photo session. I found out that she needed these headshots for a newsletter as she was going to be featured at her work. Nory works as a project manager in the electrical utilities field. It just so happens that this location has a collection of these old electrical panels on the wall which fit perfectly with her profession!

It was very hot the afternoon of our session so we tried to stay out of the sun as much as we could. Luckily, there are so many great little nooks to photograph here though with stairways and interesting walls. I love her smile and her blue eyes in all of these. And equally her fierce boss face!
